Club Med | Lots of News and Future Developments

 

Club Med SAS known as Club Med and previously known in the world of tourism and hospitality as Club Méditerranée, organization based in Paris and pioneer of the all-inclusive concept has announced several novelties and various developments in its international portfolio.

The renovation of Club Cancun in Mexico scheduled for 2025 will include the main pool and terrace area which will be transformed into a large infinity pool bordering a natural lagoon and other developments involving a swimming pool a short distance from the beach with a new bar.

As part of the renovation works, some Deluxe category rooms near the Beach Bar and the Sports & Wellness Island will be modernized with a new sophisticated design inspired by the essence of Mayan culture with private furnishings and balconies that evoke and characterize the unique beauty of the sea and the lagoon and the completion of these works is scheduled for July 2025.

In addition to all this, the Family Oasis will be enriched with new features including a Maya-themed water park, another water park, a playground, a fun area, a mini pool and a mini cinema.

The Children's Club will be moved to the sea front of Aguamarina next to the family rooms and a Baby Club Med will be incorporated.

Moving to the Dominican Republic, splendid island in the Caribbean Sea, the renovation of Club Med Punta Cana will take place, an iconic family resort with a large market in North America that will open in December 2024 a water park with exciting water slides, interactive water games, splash pads, more than 20 activities including kayaking,  pickleball and trapeze.

Today's renovations also include brand new family rooms, a wedding venue, a beauty salon and a revamped dining experience at the Caribbean restaurant Hispaniola.

The inauguration of Club Med Musandam in Oman will be the first property in the Gulf States, it is a luxury beach resort that will open its doors in 2028.

This Exclusive Collection resort overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the striking Hajar Mountains will have 300 rooms, incorporating the cultural essence of Omam into its design as well as entertainment and dining and beverage options.

Guests can enjoy gourmet restaurants, kids' club, wellness experiences, an adults-only area, spas and a wide range of water and land sports.

Club Med's partnership with internationally renowned yoga instructor Jonah Kest, known for his inspiring classes and collaborations with major brands such as Netflix and Nike, considered an icon and ambassador of yoga at the brand's resorts in the Caribbean and North America, is another first.

Kest's contributions will include development of yoga programs for guests, live teaching at select resorts, and transformative wellness workshops.

Club Med's main initiatives in the field of sustainability and responsible tourism are part of the group's priorities and include Worldwide Snacks where children from  local schools can eat and do activities at North American resorts.

The program called Bye Bye Plastics is committed to minimizing single-use plastics in its resorts by providing refillable glass water bottles in the rooms. The recycled uniforms represent the transition to 100% recycled Club Med uniforms with plastic bottles.

World Oceans Day includes several conservation programs focused on coral nurseries, sea turtles, conservation, and much more.

The Take Action  Program is a further initiative that builds on the commitment of Club Med staff and guests to ecological efforts through the cleaning of mountains and beaches.
