Oca Hotels, Spanish hospitality chain with its headquarter in Santiago de Compostela, expands its portfolio in Portugal with an upcoming opening scheduled for June 2025 in the vicinity of Melgaço in the district of Viana do Castelo, a locality known for being the northernmost municipality in the country.
The Hotel called Oca Grande Hotel do Pezo will be the seventh accommodation in Portugal of the group housed in a historic building of the early twentieth century connected to the thermal park of Melgaço.
The hotel will provide 60 rooms divided into 56 doubles and 4 suites with an area of more than 25 square meters equipped with Wi-Fi, TV set for the preparation of coffee and tea, minibar and air conditioning.
The hotel will have a restaurant, piano bar, a multipurpose hall, a Spa, gym and direct access to the well-known thermal springs of Melgaço famous for offering treatments based on the therapeutic properties of its bicarbonate, calcium/magnesium, gasocarbonic, ferruginous and mineralized waters.
The hotel group has informed that this hotel will offer a high level of refinement, comfort and quality making every stay memorable and will be a jewel in the hospitality industry in the region offering guests an unforgettable stay where wellness and nature come together in harmony.
