Ibiza, famous Balearic island part of an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean, off the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula, destination well known for its vibrant nighlife but also for its rich historic heritage, stunning beaches and attractions also in its interior will host on 21st November 2024 the XI Ibiza Tourism Forum which will be held in the Cultural Center of Jesus organized by Santa Eulalia City Council and the Santa Eulària Empresarial Association.
The Forum will be entitled "AI in Tourism: innovation and opportunities" and will see among the participants renowned national experts from the fields of tourism, innovation and artificial intelligence.
The event will be open to the public and registrations are open and will be characterized and animated by presentations by populizers with round tables that will deal with topics such as "Smart tourist destinations", "Technological innovation in the tourism sector" various themes concerning innovation and will culminate with the delivery of the IV Tourism Forum Awards.
The person in charge of opening this event will be Jon Hernández, one of the AI communicator experts in Spain, with a presentation in which there will be n analysis about the challenges of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, outlining the keys to understanding the evolution of this field and its application in different areas.
Following the opening, the round table "smart tourist destinations" will bring together tourism and innovation experts, including Jimmy Pons, professor at the University of the Balearic Islands and CEO of NFT Management System , Luis Javier Gadea R&D&I Manager of SEGITTUR, José Manuel Manrique, Commercial Director of Condé Nast Traveler and representatives of Red.es to address, among other topics, their contribution to the Ibiza Smart Island project.
This meeting will be moderated by the strategic consultant and international expert in technology and tourism, José Luis Trenco.
