North Miami, vivacious and bustling centre located in the northeast Miami - Dade County - U.S., approximately 16 kilometres north of Miami downtown will host from 18th to 20th November 2024 Taste of the Caribbean, a showcase of Caribbean cuisine, the annual culinary exhibition of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association.
The event will be held at the Kovens Conference one of South Florida's premier venue well known to boast very versatile spaces of about any event type hosted in the famed Florida International University Biscayne Bay, the largest branch campus in Florida's State University encompassing nearly 200 acres and surrounded by Oleta River State Park the largest urban park in Florida.
For years Taste of Caribbean, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association's annual culinary showcase of top young chefs from around the region is one of the most beloved events celebrated in Florida for its lively atmosphere and the great variety of flavors and gastronomic delights of the Caribbean.
The event is an exhibition and friendly competition that sees national culinary teams from all over the Caribbean region competing in a tasty and exciting demonstration in a sort of interactive culinary festival.
In addition, this special event is highlighted by the Taste of Caribbean Awards, which includes Caribbean Chef of the Year, Caribbean Junior Chef of the Year, Caribbean Bartender of the Year and Caribbean Pastry Chef of the Year.
