IHG Hotels & Resorts, well known British hospitality company based in Windsor - Berkshire - England - UK has planned a future establishment of a new voco Hotel in Bandung, capital of Indonesia's West Java province, a large, vibrant city, known for its colonial and art deco architecture, a lively university – centre situated amid suggestive tea plantations and imposing volcanoes.
The hotel voco Bandung Setiabudi results from a partnership with PT Sun Land Investama and Nova Chandra and is scheduled to open in 2025 as part of IHG's ongoing expansion in Indonesia, with 27 operational hotels across seven brands ans 16 more in pipeline.
This new voco hotel is also linked to the expansion of the brand which aims to double its global presence in the coming years, family of hotels built on sustainability that are connected by their individual characters,that make memorable travel dependables, unstuffy accommodations where people feel comfortable to relax and stand out from the crowd and IHG's fastest - growing premium brand.
The upcoming voco Banhdung Setiabubi will be situated along Jalan Dr. Setiabudi, in a popular shopping area near local natural attractions not far from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and Nara Park Bandung will feature 162 rooms that will provide the unique experience associated with voco brand which includes, comfort, details and a welcoming, charming and unstuffy atmosphere.
The hotel will provide three food and beverage outlets, a Health Club, a Business Centre, nine meeting rooms and a Kid's Club.
The Senior Director, Development, South East Asia & Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts Chris Anklin expressed his enthusiasm for the introduction of voco hotels in Bandung stating that the new voco Bandung Setiabudi will enhance the current portfolio of the group in the city which includes InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo.
The Development Partner Nova Chandra highlighted that the hotel is expected to cater the increasing number of city travellers, Bandung's cultural richness and potential for growth especially with the recent introduction of a high-speed Jakarta – Bandung railway.
