Hyatt Hotels Corporation, famous global hospitality company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, group that owns, develops and manages hotels, resorts and residential properties has announced to open a hotel in Cincinnati, in dowtown Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.
The future property is the Hyatt Centric Cincinnati, that will open its doors Cincinnati, relevant city and the county seat of Hamilton County situated on the banks of the Ohio River in the state of Ohio famous centre boasting important museums and historic architecture ranging from art deco masterpieces to painted ladies and townhouses with dental molding.
The Hyatt Centric Cincinnati will open in 2026 and it is a collaboration between Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Birkla Investment Group, a renowned company specializes in developing urban – styled residential and multi – family communities based in Carmel, Indiana that will own the property.
Partner of the venture is also Commonwealth Hotels, hospitality company based in Covington, Kentucky, group that operates and manages a portfolio of premium national brands with an uncompromising focus on a superior guest experience that will manage the hotel.
The future hotel will be part of the Hyatt Centric brand, upper-– upscale hotels developed in the centre of their destination characterized by excellence in service, attention to details and delivering comfort and mark the introduction of the brand in Ohio, will be developed in downtown Cincinnati at 580 building, a premier mixed - use facility located at 580 Walnut Street, an area that is the hub of the business district offering vibrant cultural experiences with a convenient access to the major city's attractions.
The hotel is projected with the aim to connect guests and the destination, enhancing their overall experience and sense of place in the bustling city of Cincinnati with its large variety of dining, shopping and nightlife options, it will be designed in a modern, timeless style, featuring local artwork and déco providing 170 rooms boasting modern amenities that ensures comfort and convenience.
Hyatt’s Global Head of Americas development, Dan Hansen said that the Hyatt Centric Cincinnati aims to provide guests with a unique experience that allows them to immerse themlves in the city’s culture and community.
The owner of Birkla Investment Group, Tony Birkla, stated that the development would blend the 580 building’s rich history with modern luxury, offering a dynamic space for residents and visitors, the project plans to include hotel rooms and upscale restaurants, marking a first for Cincinnati.
The Mayor of Cincinnati, Aftab Pureval expresses his enthusiasm about Hyatt’s decision to invest in the city, saying that the Hyatt Centric brand embodies Cincinnati’s vibrancy and energy.The addition of this high - profile brand to the city’s hotel options was met with positive reactions and the mayor extended a warm welcome to the Hyatt family to become a significant part of downtown Cincinnati.
