Radisson Hotel Group, multinational hospitality company based in Brussels, Belgium is planning to open a new hotel on Manchester’s Etihad Campus after the announcement of an exclusive partnership with Co - op Live, a live entertainment arena located alongside the Etihad Stadium, home of the Premier League club Manchester City, with a domestic capacity of 53.600, making it the 7th largest stadium in England and 11th in the UK.
The collaboration designates Radisson Hotel Group as the official partner of the venue, which has hosted over one million ticket holders since its opening in May 2024, an arena that is within Etihad Campus and in the partnership agreement, the hospitality company will operate a new Radisson Blu hotel on the Etihad Campus, scheduled to open in 2026 and part of the North Stand expansion of Manchester City Football Club.
This partnership aims to enhance the hospitality and entertainment offerings in Manchester, which is noted as the United Kingdom’s second - largest live music economy.
The future 401 - key hotel is expected to provide economic benefits and job opportunities in the local area and will enter in the Radisson Blu brand, well known for its emphasis on Scandinavian - inspired, contemporary design, comfortable guest rooms, unique dining concepts, and multipurpose social spaces. The brand offers an upper - upscale experience focusing on innovation, comfort, and genuine service.
The partnership with Co - op Live will offer Radisson Rewards members exclusive benefits, including access premium concert tickets, on - site activations, and social media contests for tickets and VIP experience.
Co - op Live has been recognized with the “New Concert Venue of the Year” award by Pollstar in 2025 and has hosted international artists such as Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen and Tyler the Creator with future performances from top artists including Lady Gaga and Ed Sheeran. In addition the venue has also received a “Highly Commended” status for sustainability from A Greener Future (AGF).
