The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), a hospitality firm part of Tata Group and based in Mumbai, has unveiled the opening of a 34 - key Ginger hotel in Gadchiroli, a city and a municipal council in Gadchiroli district in the state of Maharashtra, central India.
Known as “The Forest District” for the presence of extensive, dense forests that cover over 75% of its land bordered by Telangana and Chhttisgarh, Gadchiroli is primarily recognized for its biodiversity, bamboo resources, and a Gond Tribal heritage, through its remote terrain faces ongoing Naxalite presence.
Ginger Gadchiroli is situated on Mul Road a vital economic and transit artery connecting Gadchiroli to Mul in the Chandrapur district. The 35 - 40 km stretch functions primarily as an interstate/interdistrict highway corridor, hosting daily commuter buses and featuring essential commercial and public services providing access to government offices, and transit points in the region.
The hotel offering a strategic base for corporate and leisure travellers in an area with improved connectivity and ongoing development initiatives, features 34 comfortable rooms, the signature Qmin all - day restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre, and versatile event spaces for meetings, celebrations, and social occasions.
The property joins the mid - scale Ginger brand, reimagined to offer a “smart, vibrant and energetic experience” focusing on a blend of comfort, convenience, and a lifestyle approach for modern travellers. This includes a new design with bright colours and art, a focus on food, and smart spaces that balance work and leisure.
With the opening of Ginger Gadchiroli, the number of operational Ginger hotels in the state of Maharashtra increase to fifteen.
