Caesar Entertainment, a premier gaming and hospitality company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada operating dozens of casino – resort properties across the United States has officially opened a hotel & casino on the southern shore of Lake Tahoe, a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada U.S. states, known for its beaches and ski resorts.
Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino opened its doors following a comprehensive renovation of the former Harveys ‘Lake Tahoe on the South Shore.
The grand opening event included a champagne reception, a ceremonial ribbon - cutting with Lisa Vanderpump, and live rock performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure, as well as artistic presentations at the newly designed lobby and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chards lounge.
The property is located at 18 Highway 50 at Stateline Avenue on the southern shore of Lake Tahoe, directly in the heart of the area’s action, placing guests just a short walk from the Heavenly Mountain Gondola and The Shops at Heavenly Village.
The hotel & casino now features a reimagined lobby, a modernised casino floor with over 1.200 slot machines, 100 gaming tables, a high - limit and poker area, and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook. Renovated accommodations and new amenities include the High Dive Pool and Lounge, an indoor - outdoor rooftop pool club featuring private cabanas, day beds, and hot tubs with mountain views.
The property offers over 740 modern rooms across dual towers, including Summit Suite Penthouses and butler – serviced rooms.
Dining and nightlife venues at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe include WOLF by Vanderpump, a highly curated, experiential restaurant and bar, Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN, offering elevated, HK dining for lunch and dinner and Sage Room Steakhouse, a staple fine - dining steakhouse for dinner service.
Additional venues include Tessie’s Cocktails & Chards, a brand new live music and entertainment venue, developed in partnership with Clique Hospitality, a leading restaurant and nightlife group based in Las Vegas creating unforgettable dining and social experiences across Las Vegas, San Diego, Newport and Chicago. Additional bars at the property are Cleo’s Centro and Celeste.
The recent multimillion - dollar transformation also includes a modernized third - floor fitness centre, whirlpool, sauna, a steam room, and the development of 25.000 sq ft of meeting space with underground tunnel access to Harrah’s.
The transformation was described as multi - phased, honouring the legacy of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe while introducing new design elements and amenities. Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe together offers nearly 1.250 guest rooms.
